Assessments and most other services can be conducted either in person or using video conferencing. An assessment by videoconference is essentially identical to an in-person assessment. I can do all the key parts of an assessment remotely. However, when doing an assessment remotely, I do miss out on observing the executive's interactions with others, e.g., receptionists.
To do an in-person assessment that requires travel may increase both my professional fees and the expenses for which I am reimbursed.
- For local travel (from Connecticut or New York City) of less than 3 hours - no incremental fee (just travel reimbursement for local travel)
- For flights of less than 3 hours - no incremental charge (just flight reimbursement for coach class)
- For flights of more than 3 but less than 5 hours - $2000 extra professional fee and reimbursement for first class ticket
- For flights of more than 5 hours - $4000 extra professional fee and reimbursement for first class ticket (if domestic) or business class ticket (if international)
